On September 17, 2018, Apple released iOS 12 which is the latest operating system for iPhone Smartphone. Since the update is still new it is not available for every user, but nevertheless, if you want to get the new iOS 12, there are two different methods you can use to install the iOS 12 on your iPhone devices. Before you begin with the update makes sure your device is compatible, the iOS is only compatible to a device with 64 bit which means that the iOS 12 will not be able to run on iPhone 5 because iPhone 5 runs on 32 bits. How to Download, Install and update iOS
To have easier access to the iOS 12 is to install it directly on your iPhone, iPod or iPad to update.
- To update go to Settings >> General >> Software Update
- You will get a notification about the new iOS 12, tap on the Download and Install.
- Don’t interrupt the process it will take a while why it installs
Method 2:
The second method is to install a file call IPSW using iTunes
