YouTube is one of the most used video platforms in the world. There are some videos you have watched and you don’t want YouTube to remember your activity or history. Thanks to YouTube, they have solved that problem by adding a new feature to its Android app called Incognito. The Incognito is only available for Android Smartphone devices with the latest version of the YouTube app make sure you have an internet connection to enable the Incognito Mode.
So, if you don’t have the latest app you need to update the app by visiting the google play store and search for the YouTube and click on UPDATE to update the app.
How to use Incognito Mode: Step by Step
- Open the YouTube app on your phone
- Tap on the avatar icon at the top right corner of the app.
- Next, from the account section stroll down a bit, and tap on Turn on Incognito to the activate the Incognito mode.
In the Incognito mode, the avatar icon will be replaced by a Black Incognito symbol and there will be a Black bar at the bottom with a message ‘You’re incognito’
Once the Incognito mode is activated, you can browse and watch any video you want and the app will no longer save your previous search history.
