Recently after the launch of Infinix Hot 6 and Hot 6X, the company has finally announced the Infinix Hot 7 which will the successor of both Hot 6 and Hot 6 Pro. The Hot 7 comes with some wonderful features which include massive battery size, a 6.2-inch display, and impressive camera quality and with huge memory space.

Infinix Hot 7 Design and Display

The Hot 7 comes with a 6.2 inch IPS LCD display with a screen resolution of 720 x 1440 pixels. This device also gives a 19:9 aspect ratio. The front camera and the LED flash is placed in between the notch at the top of the phone. Infinix Hot 7

Turning to the back of the device, you will find the rear camera at the top left of the phone together with its LED flash underneath it. While the fingerprint sensor is placed beside it, while on the side of the phone you will find the power and volume button. The Hot 7 comes in various colours such as black, purple and Gold.

Here the infinix hot 7 has a single 13MP camera at the back of the phone with a dual LED flash to take pictures in a dark environment. The camera also has some features such as HDR and Panorama.

On the front, there is also a single selfie camera of an 8MP camera with an f/2.2 aperture.

Hardware and Software

The device is powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT6580P SoC which clocks at 1.3GHz which handles various tasks on the device, while the graphics of the device is handled by the ARM Mail GPU chipset. The Infinix Hot 7 offers two different types of RAM which are 1GB and 2GB with both having 16GB inbuilt storage which can be expanded up to 128GB with the help of mircoSD card.

As for the 1GB version, it will not be able to run on Android 8.1 Oreo but it might use the Andriod GO Edition, while the 2GB version is the one to have the Android 8.1 Oreo. Both versions use the infinix Infinix’s XOS 4.0 Honeybee UI operating system.

Infinix Hot 7 Battery & Network Connectivity

The Hot 7 comes with a 4,000mAh massive battery which doesn’t feature a fast-changing technology.

As for the Network aspect, the device doesn’t support a 4G LTE Network. Other connectivity includes Bluetooth, Wi-Fi Direct, Wi-Fi hotspot, GPS, micro USB port for charging and for transferring of files. It also comes with a 3.5mm audio jack for the earpiece.

Infinix Hot 7 Price and Availability

The Infinix Hot 7 is currently available for sale on online stores and local stores in Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya and South Africa at a selling price of $144 which is about N41,000 in Nigeria, 593GHc in Ghana while in Kenya it cost about 11485KSh and 1607 South Africa Rand.
