You can get the PPSSPP emulator app on Google Play Store, the PSP emulator comes in two types, the free and paid, and the paid one is called Gold. You can get the free one as low as $1 which is approximately N500 in Nigeria while about GHc 6 in Ghana and 14.21 South African Rand. How to Download a PSP game
After downloading and installing the emulator app on your Android phone, the next step is to download any PSP game of your choice. Remember that even after downloading and installing the emulator app you won’t find any PSP game that comes with it.
To get your very first PSP game, you must know that. ISO or.CSO are the only files that are compatible with playing a PSP game on a PPSSPP Android emulator. The reason why am saying this is because sometimes you might come across some PSP games that come in ZIP or RAR format and not in. ISO or. CSO format. So, you will have to unzip or uncompress the PPSSPP game file using a file extractor app such as ZArchiver, Xplore, WinRAR, and many more.
Click through the below link to download the ZArchiver application for the extraction of files.
Steps on how to open and use the ZArchiver app to Extract a PPSSPP file
- First, download the ZArchiver application from the above link if you don’t have any.
- Install, the ZArchiver app
- Now, look for the PSP game file that carries RAR or ZIP from your download folder format to extract.
- Once you found the file, click on the extract icon on the ZArchiver app.
- Wait for a few seconds while the extraction process takes place.
- After the file has been successfully extracted, open the ZArchiver app to see the extracted result.
- You will once again need to extract the RAR game files to your PSP folder.
- Finally, now you can play the PPSSPP game of your choice. (the extracted file extension comes in .iso)
