Design and Display
The TECNO Camon 12 Pro comes with a nice body design which is common to other TECNO mobile phones. The Camon 12 Pro looks like what we have on Tecno Phantom 9 both in design and in features. This device features a polycarbonate (plastic) design with aluminium frames design as well. The screen of the device is protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 with a 2.5 curved display.
At the back of the device, there is a triple camera set up coupled with the LED flash that is set up horizontally at the left side of the device. While the TECNO name is boldly written at bottom of device, there is no rear fingerprint sensor the fingerprint sensor is placed on the screen of the device just like the Phantom 9.
The TECNO Camon 12 Pro displays a 6.4-inch AMOLED Display with a resolution of 720 x 1548 pixels and an aspect ratio of 19.5:9 which has an 84% screen to body ratio. While the waterdrop notch display houses the front camera.
Hardware and Software
The TECNO Camon 12 Pro is powered by a MediaTek Helio P22 chipset with an Octa-core Cortex A53 processor that clocks at a speed of 2.0 GHz, while the graphics aspect of the device is powered by PowerVR GE8320. This device comes with a 6GB RAM and a 64GB inbuilt storage that handles both files and games of the device. The storage unit can be expanded up to 500GB with the use of a microSD card.
As for the software aspect, the Camon 12 Pro runs on Android 9.0 Pie couple with its own Tecno HiOS 5.5 user interface.
Camera
The TECNO Camon 12 pro comes with a triple camera setup at the back which comprises of a 16MP Main Sensor + 8MP Wide-angle sensor + 2MP depth sensor coupled with a Quad-LED flash for taking images in low light areas.
The Front Camera comes with a 32MP selfie camera which is located on the waterdrop notch display coupled with a dual-LED flash.
