The Tecno Camon 12 and Camon 12 Pro is the latest smartphone from Tecno Mobile which is the direct successor to the Tecno Camon 11 and Camon 11 Pro which were released late last year by the company.
The Camon 12 comes with a 6.52-inches IPS HD+ display and a waterdrop notch screen which hold the front-facing camera just like the Tecno Phantom 9.

Tecno Camon 12 Design and Display
The device is made from a plastic material which has a stylish nebula design. Turning to the back of the device there is a triple back camera setup and the TECNO Logo written boldly at the back of the device. The Camon 12 comes with three different colours of gradient colours for the user to choose from.
The device comes with a 6.52-inches IPS HD display with a resolution of 720*1600 while the Dot Notch screen houses the front-facing camera coupled with the LED flash.
Hardware and Software
The Tecno Camon 12 is powered by a MediaTek 6765 processor with an Octa-core that clocks at a speed of 2.3 GHz coupled with a PowerVR GPU which handles the gaming and graphic aspect of the phone. The Camon 12 comes with a 4GB RAM and a 64GB inbuilt storage which is expandable up to 256GB through the use of microSD card. The device runs on Android 9.0 pie couple with its own Tecno HiOS 5.5 user interface.

The TECNO Camon 12 has a total of four cameras- three at the back while one at the front. The back cameras consist of 16MP + 2MP + 8MP coupled with Quad-LED flash at the back. The front camera also features a single 16MP AI camera with a flash LED which is located on the dot notch display. Other Features include AI HDR, AI Portrait mode, AI Selfie, superpixel, AI Beautification.
Connectivity and Battery
The Tecno Camon 12 offers a dual Nano-SIM card with the support of a 4G LTE network. Other connectivity options include Bluetooth, GPS, WiFi, WiFi hotspot, a 3.5mm jack, micro USB port and a fingerprint sensor for unlocking the device.
The Camon 12 comes with a 4000mAh non-removable lithium-ion battery.

The official price of TECNO Camon 12 will go for 47,000 Naira in Nigeria while it will be selling at the price of 675GHc in Ghana and 12755ksh in Kenya
