The Tecno mobile company as yet again released another camera focused android smartphone into the market called Camon X. The Camon X and Camon Pro were introduced to the market earlier this year. Both the Camon X and Camon Pro are the upgraded version of Camon CX series. Both Camon X and Pro comes with the latest bezel-less screen and the trending 18:9 aspect ratio. The Tecno Camon X comes with an excellent camera which is good for pleasant pictures taking, in my own opinion I thick the Camon X is particularly designed for selfie-taking, the front camera is pack with 20MP for the front while the back camera comes with 16MP.

Design and Display

The device looks wonderful, Tecno has recently improved on their designs ranging from Tecno K7 and K9. The Tecno Camon X did not fall short of that, to me the Camon X looks like that of iPhone where you will find the back camera at the top right corner together with it LED flash beside it. The body is perfectly designed with a plastic and with a golden stripe at the edges and side. The Camon X features a nice bezel-less display giving It a full-screen display. The Camon X is available in three different colours which are Champagne Gold, Midnight Black, City Blue.

Tecno Camon X features a 6- inch display screen and with it trending massive 18:9 aspect ratio. The device features a 1440 x 720-pixel HD+ resolution display and giving the pixel density at 274 PPI.

FACE ID SECURITY

The front camera is not only limited to selfie-taking but also allows you to lock and unlock your phone from third parties which can be called Face ID. Though Camon X is not the first to have the Face ID feature, it first introduces on Camon C7 and C9. The Face ID works Perfectly in both low and no light conditions.

Hardware and Software

As for the hardware aspect, the device support MediaTek MT6763 Helio P23 processor, the processor clocks a speed of 2.0GHz. And when it comes to the graphics it is provided with a Mali GPU.

Camon X comes with a 3GB RAM to help in dealing with heavy Apps or Games and a 16GB inner storage you can also expand the memory space of about 128GB using microSD card if you wish. Tecno Camon X runs on Android 8.1 Oreo, Camon X is the first Smartphone produce by Tecno to come with the latest Tecno Mobile Customize interface, the HiOS 3.3.

Camon X camera feature a 16MP at the Back camera with a flash LED which is capable of taking amazing pictures both in the day and night time, while the front also comes with a 20MP camera and a dual flash LED which is good for taking great selfies images in a low light area.
