TECNO has finally unveiled the long-awaited Tecno Phantom 9, which is an upgrade to Phantom 8 that was released two years ago. The Phantom 9 comes with a triple camera coupled with a quad-LED flash and an in-display fingerprint scanner.

TECNO Phantom 9 Design and Display
In terms of its design, the device has a plastic unibody which features a Lapland aurora colour on its back cover. At the back of the device is the Al triple camera position horizontally at the left side of the phone with the phantom brand written underneath it. 
The Phantom 9 displays 6.4 inches with a resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels and dot notch on top of the screen which houses the front camera and the dual LED flash as well.
Hardware and Software
The Tecno phantom 9 is powered by Android 9.0 (Pie) operating system with its customized user interface HiOS 5.0. The device runs on MediaTek MT6765 Helio P35 SoC processor with an octa-core processor which runs at a speed of 2.3GHz. finally, it comes with a 6GB of RAM and 128GB inbuilt storage.
Tecno Phantom 9 Camera
The Tecno Phantom 9 comes with a great picture taking ability, the device features a triple rear camera of 16MP + 2MP + 8MP coupled with a Quad-LED Flash which is capable of taking quality videos at 1080p@30fps, 720p@30fps.
While on the front camera there is a 32MP front camera with a dual LED flash on top.
Connectivity and Battery
This phone will be the first phone to come with an In-display fingerprint sensor by TECNO which means that you don’t have to place your thumb at the back of the phone but you will have to place your thumb on the screen of your phone to unlock the device provided that your finger or your thumb have been registered on the device. The device uses a dual Nano sim with the support of a 4G LTE network and other connectivity options such as Face ID unlock, Bluetooth 4.2, Wi-Fi Direct and hotspot.
The device has a non-removable lithium-ion battery capacity of 3500mAh battery which can take you for a whole day when fully charge.
Tecno Phantom 9 Price And Availability
The device is not yet available for purchase, the device will be selling at a price of $250 which is approximately N90,000 naira in Nigeria while 1352GHc in Ghana
