Design and Display
The Tecno POP 3 Plus comes with a huge 6.52-inch IPS LCD screen display giving it a 19:9 aspect ratio which has a waterdrop notch design that house the front-facing camera.
Over to back of the device, there is a fingerprint sensor sitting at its usual position with a single rear camera placed at the left side of the phone and just underneath the back camera, there is also a Dual-LED flash. While the TECNO’s Logo is written just above the speaker.
The device is made of plastic material which gives the device weight of about 180g that measures 8.4mm in thickness. The device uses a dual Nano SIM card slot and a MicroSD card slot as well. The POP 3 Plus comes with 3 colour types which are Midnight Black, Vacation Blue, Hillier Purple.
Tecno POP 3 Plus Camera Review
As for the camera department, the Tecno POP 3 Plus is pack with a total of two cameras one at the front and one at the back of the device with both having a LED flash.
The front-facing camera has an 8MP with an f/2.0 aperture and a single LED flash which can take a shoot of 1080p video at 30fps. The back camera also uses 8MP camera sensor which features a Dual LED flash, AL, HDF, Face unlock, which can as well take a shoot at 1080p at 30fps.
Hardware and Software
The POP 3 Plus comes with a 1GB RAM and a 16GB internal storage which can also be expanded up to 128GB with use of a microSD card slot.
The Tecno POP 3 Plus is handled by a MediaTek Helio A22 SoC CPU which runs at a speed of 2.0GHz quad-core processor while the graphical aspect is handled by PowerVR GE8320.
As for the software aspect, the device run on Android 9 Pie which is based on its own customizes HiOS user interface.
Network and Connectivity
This device uses a 4G LTE network with the support of a dual SIM slot. Other connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Portable Hotspot, GPS, FM radio, a 3.5mm audio for the earpiece and a MicroSD port for data transfer and charging.
